I loved keeping my notes organized in tombo. I used it when I had a windows mobile device and I keep a copy of it on my jump drive. Can anyone port this to the n800? It would complete my n800 experience. Thanks

since it is written for windows it would probably be just as much work to "port" an app like that to linux/maemo as to rewrite it from scratch. You might be interested in another free app called notecase.

It might work. I just liked tombo more than any others for pocket pc because everything was in it's own folder and was plain txt files.

Use the Force^h^h^h^h^h Search, Luke.

There almost is one, I need a device to start playing with to see what performance is like for the encryption. I also need to Hildonize it (add a few more features like search...). The web based search should work though without any work so you could use a plain text editor for text notes and the web interface for reading encrypted notes until the GUI is completed.

Are you interested in helping out with the coding?
