Um, I don't see any of those utilities listed as installable applications within the application manager

I've tried:
  • refreshing the list of catalogs in the application manager
  • deleting all catalogs, reinstalling debfarm.free.fr catalog (and others)

but there doesn't seem to be an entry for either the individual utilities or for a collected package with those programs.

I'm running OS2008 on an N810.

However, the utilities are available from the command line, as in:
apt-get install file

What do you like about mpg321?
Are there any frontends available?

Most of them are now visible in app manager.

thttpd, p0f and hping3 are really good imo.

I've modified sxid to fit a bit more to the tablet (no mail by default and no daily/.. cron). Run it from time to time to check if there are new suid/sgid (potentially dangerous files). Command line only..

Using hping3 against the n800 is a good way to DoS your device.

Can someone help me out with hping3 on N800, Diablo?

I install hping3 through the application manager, but I can't figure out how to run it.

After installing with no errors, I open up a terminal and run hping3. The terminal responds with hping3: not found.

I've tried in regular and root terminal. Thanks,
