After no luck connecting to GPRS with my Erricson t39m with the GUI i tried to do it with command line so i might see a more useful error.

So i did used dbus-bluez-rfcomm to bind to the already paired device.
then i setup ppp options and chatscripts like this: http://www.nervous.it/hw/PalladioUSB_dongle.html

then i do pppd with my scripts

and when i run ifconfig i see:

and i added it to the route table:

but i still can't browse with it. the connection icon is grayed out and it won't let me browse without making a connection.

I'm using t-zones which requires a proxy, that may be the problem?

can someone point me to where the connection settings from the GUI are stored so that i can start hacking AT those scripts?

It seems that os2008 changed the way it does DUN though bluetooth because i think this phone used to work with 0S2007
