Hi.

I find the soft keyboard in N800 to be too small to use my fingers. Is there a way that I can increase the size so that it is easier to use the fingers. Or is they any special application for that from maemo?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers

I don't know of any of software that could increase the size of the soft keyboard. However, most hardware, bluetooth wireless keyboards will pair with the N800 and that is probably a better option in all respects.

@anand: Are you talking about the "half-screen" keyboard or the "fullscreen" keyboard that appears when you click the center d-pad button?

Hi.

Thanks for your replies. I am talking about the half screen kbd that is used to key in data such as URL on the browser etc.

The half-screen keyboard is for the stylus, innit?

My N800 always went to the full screen keyboard when I touched the screen with my finger.

Maybe your fingers are too thin!

Thump it with your finger. I mean THUMP it, and it will bring up the finger-board. Also, selecting the input field, and pressing enter (the button in the middle of the d-pad) will bring it up. That, of course, doesn't always work. But in standard input fields, it does it.
