"Unfortunately, Nokia doesn't include any software for creating such files, and doesn't even point you toward a portal for movie downloads." -- Obviously the reviewer didn't go to the OS2008 site or he/she would have found the Nokia Internet Tablet Video Converter that would do the job.

Also, the good instant messenger the reviewer was looking for could have been found at Nokia OS2008 site, under Pidgin

"While the N800 had trouble using Flickr's Batch Organize features, the N810 handled everything Flickr could throw at it, and ate up YouTube and MySpace for lunch." -- obviously the reviewer is also not aware that OS2008 exists for the N800, giving it the same capabilities of the N810, sans GPS.

"Better than its predecessor by a nice margin, but the N810 still can't match a desktop PC for browsing, or even a UMPC, for that matter." -- no sh*t, Einstein, why do you think the N810 costs a fraction of the price of a notebook? Benefits include instant-on and better battery life. I'd bet I could wiki something in less time on my N800/N810 that it takes a notebook user to do so.

I don't need a portal to download movies. I believe many of us already have tons of music and movie files, and it's just about making them available on the NiT.

I'd offer up my library if not for copyright issues surrounding distributing them :P
