writeroom is a minimalist, uncluttered text editor. I found this python script (in attached zip), a writeroom clone, on the lugradio forums (it originally came from some regulars on the ubuntu forums). Never one to let a useful piece of source code go to waste, I have started hildonizing it.

In the spirit of release early, release often I'm attaching the script even though it is in an early, un-debianized state. I'll package it and put it in the garage if there's enough interest.

To run it, you obviously need python, but you'll also need khertan's debs for gtksourceview and its python bindings at http://khertan.net (LibGtkSourceView2-Common, LibGtkSourceView2, Python Binding for GtkSourceView2)

writeroom works best with a bluetooth keyboard (or an N810, assuming it has a CTRL key) but I've added menus so you can at least drive the program with the touchscreen and hardware keys (hardware menu key works, +/- keys change the font size, keyboard shortcuts are documented in the help). writeroom runs in fullscreen mode only (that's the point)
