Well a friend of mine brought one from the USA for me and it was 169 after rebate. I think it was buy.com but this december. Around here it still sells for 400$ with 770 going $250 and 810 nowhere in sight...

I'm terribly sad about this. We decided to buy one. We bought one from Buy.com YESTERDAY, the sale started TODAY. I wonder if we can call and get that $40 back since it's shipping today.

They are now on ebay for 189 with free shipping. I just ordered another one and u do pay california sales tax. I think the company was "buy" internet sales showing over 500 available.

You'd think so. But I called and they don't price match their own price. Messed up if you ask me. Oh well, my n800 is in route to my house. Guess it's better that we ordered yesterday and are getting it today rather than waiting and possibly having it sold out.
