chenyufei -
Gnumeric is a spreadsheet ported to OS2008; under OS2007 it had Excel support, but that seems to be a bit buggy the last time I heard. I don't use it to create files that I then use with Excel.
Abiword is a word processor that could read Word files; someone is working on porting it to OS2008
No presentation software that I know of.
I also use Maemopad+ as a sort of note taking application that can do lists and line drawings.

eVince can do pdfs, which I believe are the second most popular presentation format. You can use OOo on the desktop to export ppts as pdfs.

Well, there's dia, for drawing. I now use Xournal for the note-taking I used to use Mpad+ for. Doesn't do quite everything M+ did (notably the only "shape" available is a straight line, all else is text or free vector sketching, also no checklists, etc.), but does a lot more (highlighting, marking up pdf, exporting as pdf).

Best sol'n in general is rdesktop or vnc to a machine with OOo, if you need MSOffice compatibility. Of course, that requires network access.

You 'guys' are evil ya know? I was just looking for something to carry around so I could use read ebboks, Skype, do on the fly web research, and mange my email a bit...

Now, you have me looking to break my vow of never writing another line of code again in my life...and NEVER to muck around with a new OS ever again...but these things look like too much fun!

I hate you all...hehehehe...
