I know this is picky, but is there a way to make the date mm/dd/yy instead of the current dd/mm/yy?

You don't tell us what model you have, what operating system, where you are in the world. On my N800 with OS2008, I can go to Control Panel, then Language & Region, and at that point select my regional setting. My Regional Setting of English (USA) shows a date format of MM/DD/YY and if I change it to English (UK), the format becomes DD/MM/YY. Hope this helps.

Sorry -- it's an N810 with 2008 OS. I have my home city set to Denver, CO USA and it still gives me the dd/mm/yy format.

home city has nothing to do with your regional settings. do just like he said in the last post.

Control panel - Language & Region - change it to "English (US) instead of English (UK)

Thanks for the input. I looked into it and found that I did have it set for the UK. Date is fine now.
