I have installed nano - but cannot run. I get error opening "xterm"

I have changed the TERM variable - tried osso_xterm, osso-xterm, osso, vt100, linux.....

Does anyone know what will work with osso ??

you might have to install ncurses-base which contains the necessary descriptions for the TERM variables

That did it - Thanks. (though I had to get them somewhere else)
