The website www.archive.org has thousands of downloadable videos in a format that plays durectly on my n800 with no conversion. The site has lots of public domain stuff, from some PD 3 stooges and bugs bunny, to those hilarious videos we watched growing up in grade school.

When you get to a video, download the 256k mp4 encoded file and it plays great on the n800 with no modifications. I have mplayer installed, but it actually played best on the default media player.

I had fun watching some old "Computer Chronicles" shows - one where they reviewed the Commodore 64 and one where they addressed which browser was better - netscape 4 or IE4.
