Hello,
I am having a problem with Erminig. For some reason it stopped working a week or so ago. I tried uninstalling Erminig, pysqlite and gdata but nothing worked. In the log I am getting the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/erminig", line 205, in on_UpdateProfile
self.proxy_enabled)
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/processevents.py", line 129, in updateall
self.ProcessUpdatedEvents()
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/processevents.py", line 222, in ProcessUpdatedEvents
the_event.rstring())
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/google_service.py", line 152, in updateevent
self.cal_client.UpdateEvent(event.GetEditLink().hr ef, event)
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'href'

Any thought on how I can fix this?

Thanks.

Denny

Even worse than that is that apparently Ermining is sending the wrong data to google Calendar. All of a sudden my appointments are hours earlier than they are set for in GPE Calendar. Even thought the time zone is correct on the tablet. My g-calendar as seen in Thunderbird and iCal both have the wrong time.

I notice that also. For some reason, some reoccurring events on Google cal end up a day later.

I deleted my old cal and did a fresh sync with google. The initial sync worked fine but I could not get it to sync anymore after that. It seems Erminig chokes on events that do not have a specific time associated with it.

I've only experienced that problem when one of either Google Calendar and/or the tablet's timezone are out of whack. Check Google Cal's timezone setting.

I checked Google Cals timezone and it's correct. The problem is even worse because now MaemoMapper is showing the wrong time as if it is in a different time zone.

I have the same problem. For me, it is 8 hours off. My Gcal timezone is correct. My tablet time/region settings are correct. It seems to have started after the OS upgrade.

I thought of the timezone issue but I checked and that is not it. I am about to give up on Erminig. It was so nice being able to sync outlook and google cal. Oh well.

stelchio : run erminig in xterm, You will have more error messages

topher : Check the tablet timezone :
Erminig deals all dates as UTC format with Google
Gpe stores all events with UTC date format
So, this is because the tablet timezone
