Being the curious type, I tried hiding the menu in galculator, only to find there was no way to unhide it. (Documentation says "Ctrl+M" would do the trick... soft keyboard doesn't seem to have a Ctrl key feature. Maybe I'm missing something.)

This seems to be persistent from session to session. I have uninstalled galculator and re-installed, even removed using dpkg -P, and the setting persists. I've searched the filesystem for "galculator" to find a configuration file with no luck. Any ideas?

I've got version 1.2.5.2-1 on my N800 running OS2008.

Good news is that I did get to preview all the menus before hiding them and there's not much there that I actually need... right now anyway. It would be nice if the menus were Hildonized, though.

/home/user/.galculator

change show_menu_bar=false to show_menu_bar=true

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. Having trouble using leafpad or nano to complete this rather simple task right now, but with a keyboard at home where I can easily ssh to the device from a desktop machine it should be much easier.
