So, my school has decided to use WPA Enterprise.

The 770 appears to have no problem importing the certs: the CA in Authorities, the private key in User --- however, when I try to add the connection, the user key doesn't show. Re-opening the cert program, I find that the user cert is now in Authorities and therefore cannot be used.

Now that we know the certificate manager stores to a BDBv1 file, any ideas as to how to fix this?

(I can't seem to find tools that work with BDB v1 -- the latest tools refuse to recognize the certman.cst as a BDB database.)

Thanks!

Our university used to require a certificate to access its wireless network. I have installed the appropriate certificate, but cannot specify it in the communications settings tool.

Our network gurus say that if the Nokia uses PEAP, that my user id and password should be enough to access the network. That doesn't work either. The Nokia can see the network but can't authenticate.

We have gone as far as to manually enter the 26 digit WEP key. That not only did not work, but the key was not stored.

I might add that I have had no problem connecting to my home wireless network (WEP secured) or public networks like TMobile.

Has anyone run into similar authentication problems? I would appreciate the help.

Thanks. MB
