Ok i have an nokia n810 and i did buy the 36 month subscription right?? but i cant seem to get any GPS navigation signal....so can someone please help??

Hmmm... Wayfinder specific? or GPS trouble in general?

Try Maemo-Mapper, see if that works.

I don't have one, but here's the going advice for N810 GPS: Hold the unit with the screen facing forwards and the top edge directly up. The antenna's in the top edge, so it locks much better like that. Once a lock is acquired, then you can lay it flat on a table or whatever.

but if i was to use maemo would it read my subscription wit wayfinder or what???

No, it doesn't need a subscription; free software, gets maps from free and no-charge online sources, routes from google maps. Just try it; it'll at least either get a GPS fix or not, so you know what the problem is. You suggested in the title that you need help using "Wayfiner", but I wouldn't assume that's the case unless some other app is able to get a fix, and Wayfinder is not.
