Hi

I have noticed that Canola2 (latest beta) will stop playing music after awhile.

EG, going to my music play albums generally after 1 or 2 or 3 songs the music just stops either halfway though the song or right at the very end of the song.

The music is generic Mp3's 128kbit's or higher,

I have tested the music in 'youamp' and also the default media player, all these programs play the music perfectly and play entire albums no worries.

Just wondering if anyone else gets this at all.

Cheers
Rip

Yes, happened to me last night. I was playing songs in Random mode when it stopped playing. The song resumed when I touched the screen. Maybe there is a sleep bug when the screen shuts off?

ok, What I have noticed so far is I thought it was to do with going to sleep as well, but what seems to be happening is Canola2 thinks the song is longer than it really is, every other player on the IT thinks the song is 3m01sec long
but Canola2 reports it as 4m27secs and stops when it reaches the 3m01sec mark thinking the song has longer to go when in fact it doesn't.

Hei Rip,

Can you mail us some of the files? it's quite strange because we don't play the music, and we don't analyze it's time.. it's the default media engine (the same of the default media player) but...
canola may have a bug receiving some wrong signal from it.. we need to debug to find out.

sure, PM me or let me know where to send the files.

It's kind of strange that the default media player with its own gui detects the correct file length, but canola2 doesn't.

Thanks heaps for the great program.

Cheers

Yeah, can be a bug in the dbus communication between canola and default media engine :/

I'd rather not attach the Mp3 into the bug report
