I'm about to buy a Nokia N800 , so I started looking for some accessories for it too. Anyways, I really like this leather (book type) case from PDair , but does somebody know if there is a aluminum or anything else on the front side of the case ( that protects the screen ) ?? I need to be sure that I'll buy a case which will really PROTECT my N800 gorgeous screen (like the other ALU-whatever leather case, you know) ! Thanks for any upcoming respond .

I actually corresponded with PDAir when I was thinking of getting a N810. I ended up getting a N800, but I'm still disappointed that they don't make an aluminum case like they have for the N810. The N810 case has a clear screen protector just like you asking about. I orderd the book type case from them, but I too would be interested in an aluminum alternative.

Actually my question was if this particular leather (book type) case has something aluminum ( or something else ) inside the leather ??? ( on the front - just like this ALU - whatever case has aluminum inside the leather on the front that protects the screen ) And if not - do you all think that the leather itself is thick enough to protect the screen ???

I have a n800 and a book type leather case by pdair. The leather on the front has no metal in it. However i find i have to push very hard to get something to register on the screen as the back of the front (where the sd card holders are) is hardened.
