I would think it would depend on how much of the radio was put together with software and how much was hard wired. That would determine if it could adapt to a new formate that worked

Sorry; My bad - I searched 'gizmodo' instead of 'gizmode'.

But thanks none the less for your vigilant policing of fourm etiquette. ..|.,

Hah, not really - just on a bad day you snippy little forum enforcers *iss me off - not to mention make this a less than welcoming place for any newcomers looking for info.

Yes, people should search before posting, but in General those that choose to remind us of that don't have to be such pricks about it.

That knife cuts both ways.

Besides, you seem to have mistaken a simple tip for some sort of personal attack. Perhaps it's really you who needs to reevaluate your attitude.

Anderbr, I'm with you 100%!

Sometimes you can search for something, and you'll not find it without being REALLY specific about your search. So when your search doesn't turn up a positive result, you have no option but to post.

At which point you run the risk of getting some cocky little poster giving some smart-arsed remark about how you should search first!

It's not helpful, and it makes the forum seem like a place unwelcoming to those needing help!
