hi,

i recently got a n810 and love it...

one thing has been annoying me though - I had 'xmame' running with the frontend 'xmaeme', but after i reflashed with the update xmaeme seems to be gone from maemo.org so I have been trying to get xmame to run from xterminal

can someone please help me with the command line prompts i need to type to run a rom through xmame ?
I'm a rookie at linux commands

I have searched this forum and the net but cant find clear instructions anywhere. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I have the roms on the internal card in a folder called /roms/

I've tried many variations of...
'xmame /roms/romname.zip -r -fullscreen' etc but it always says cant find files... and these are of roms I had running before I reflashed so I dont think its the roms i'm using.

thanks..

hey,

I downloaded that rom and tried that command but get the same 'requested files are missing' error...

Where do you put your rom files ?

I read somewhere I need to edit the xmame config file to tell it where my roms are stored ?

But I have no idea how to do that, can someone please help with that ?

Thanks.
