I have been trying off and on since I got my nokia to use Onion's Mapper and doing the steps to create a .db from an .osm. Either I'm really screwing up, or this is in such a development stage that it's impossible for me to do it without more programming knowledge.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to get his steps to work. I'm wanting to create a .db for the state of Connecticut at zoom level 6. And I lock up my nokia when I try to download such a large section with Maemo Mapper. Any ideas would be helpful. And sorry if this is a total newbie question.
