So ...

The default media player on the N810 doesn't support all of the file and media formats I'd prefer. So I installed MPlayer and the Mediabox front-end. Now I've got the support I need.

Question: How do I associate Mediabox with all of the various file-types? If it's an .avi or an .mpg or such I'd like it to open in Mediabox, not the default player. Maybe I'm thinking like a lunk-headed Windows user, but presumably there's a Linux equivalent.

Is it a matter of CLI goodness or root access or something?
