Hello everyone. I just bought my N800 and I don't know a lot about it. I read some post about the GPE calendar and GPE todo program and really want to have them on my device. But I can't understand how to download them. I read that I have to have something else before downloading them or no ...?? I have absolutely no idea of how to enter commands in the system . Please can somebody explain to me in the simplest way HOW and WHERE I can download them. Thank you in advance ! p.s. Can somebody tell me where can I get some information about entering commands in the system (starting from the very beginning) because I saw that a lot of you have some really useful programs which are not downloadable with the regular way! Thank you very much

Go to application manager > installable applications > install the apps you want(gpe...)

If it does not show in the app manager report back

Here's where to start-

www.linuxcommand.org/learning_the_shell.php

Don't bother with the os2008 user site. It's more of an advertisement than a 'user site'.

hope this helps,

I managed to get the GPE suit on my device as a very new user and use iy every day now. Many folks here were very helpfull with my questions.

However, I do suggest you upgrade to the latest OS before adding programs. Just ask if you are not sure how.

When you install GPE Callendar be aware that it always stays active even if you hit the close button (It's designed this way).

Cheers
