I just received my n800 but for some reason the n800 cant find my d-link router. All of the wireless connections in my house is fine but the n800 is giving me this problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

i went to control panel selected wlan and when it searched it did find my connection which is named "wii" i pressed ok and finished after inserting the wep key. after that there still is no internet. what am i doing wrong here?

Did you go to the little faded out wifi icon in the status bar and choose Select connection?

when i choose select connection sometimes it will show up as no connecction available and sometimes it will find my connection and it will prompt me to enter my wep key and once i do that it will say network error.

Hmm. Don't know then. I'd make double-sure you're inputting your wep key correctly. If you have control over the router, disable the wep and see if you can connect unsecured.

Beyond that, sorry, can't help you.

I am really starting to get frustrated at this point. Out of 50 times that I have tried to search for my connection maybe there was only 2 times that it actually have found my connection, and when I do type in my wep key correctly it still does not work. My n800 keep finding some other connection called "xh111" and "danlach" I have no clue what those are. Do you think that there is something wrong with my n800, or do I have to upgrade to 2008os?

Try disabling the hidden ssid feature on the router for a while.

You can go in control panel-connection-new connection. Then setup n800 for wlan. Also set "Any Connection" in search.
