I just learned N800 are now being sold in Mexico. You can find them in the Office Max website (www.officemax.com.mx). They are tremendously overpriced, as it was to be expected (468 USD with today's exchange rate), but at least you can find them now. Curiously they were not found until a few weeks ago, as far as I know, in the most high-end Nokia sections in department stores. This is the first place I've seen them officially sold in Mexico.

I just hope whoever buys one knows how to get to this forums, otherwise it's going to be a long, painful journey

Regards

But if they attend these forums, won't they know better than to pay that much?

Nokia itself has been selling the Nokia Internet Tablets in Mexico since about the first N 770 came out.

There used to be a Nokia Store at the Mexico City airport (now closed -the store, not the airport-) that sold NITs, very expensive tough.

Now, one of the few Nokia Flagship Stores is located in Mexico City, at the Antara shopping mall in the Polanco area of the Distrito Federal (D.F.) and actually, today April 18th 2008, they just got the N810s for the first time. I was notified of this just yesterday.

I do not know the current price of N810 in Mexico but I sadly suspect it will be expensive compared to the USA prices, for instance.

Well... those are the news so far from Mexico City. If you need anything from these latitudes, let me know.

Kind regards.

Glad to know I can find it in Mexico now, a lot of people has asked me where can they buy one after I show them my N800, I usually told them to buy it on eBay. I got mine from Amazon, and asked a friend to send it to Mexico.

Saludos a toda la raza!!!
