anybody buying a pair of those deserves every bit of derisive laughter they will, no doubt, be inundated with.

Before I wear those 'pheripheral pants' in public I would rather walk in public naked, with my gadgets, er, peripherals attached to my body with gaffa tape.

I found the near perfect pants at a local Bass Pro outdoor (activities) shop. Lots of pockets, loose fit, and the lower legs zip off to create shorts. I wear them for air travel; very handy.

The geek factor is extremely high, though-- I overheard some guys at JFK airport make fun of me. Barbarians. feh.

EDIT: I love the comments on that web page! lol...

regular jeans, generally on the slight baggy side usually do the trick.

Fit cellphone, wallet, gloves, iPod, jumpdrive, floppies, and much more without looking too weird. Its just a matter of capacity versus integrity of the devices - how much wear can they take.

One i get my internet tablet hopefully a n810, its gonna in my left front pocket, to be barely noticed.

I would tend to focus my most aggressive typing for the right third of the keyboard, if you know what I mean!

"Tool" must be in the description. You have pants that hold your tool, while you look like a tool.

However, when I first saw the link on Giz a few days ago, I never thought of the IT crowd. You folks are all *much* cooler than that (**cough, cough**)

Anyone know if this is actually real? Like, purchasable?

Not that I would, you know...wear them or anything...*cough*
