This will probably expose me as a networking newb, but here it goes...

One of my suppliers recently decided to lock their wireless (with wep, not a big deal). what seems to kill my N800 joy is the proxy they are using (10.0.0.51 or something). When I go to the setting for this wlan connection, I click use proxy, the aforementioned address typed in, and the port (8080). This works fine, for browsing. However, I cannot get into my e-mail(gmail) or use skype. I can see a lot of other proxy settings on the settings page for wlan (https, ftp etc.), but I don't know where to start to get skype and gmail to play nice with the proxy.

Thanks in advance
