Since usb control is out and we can do almost everything through it so what about a mouse pointer? that could be great,i can say i already have a "mini pc" in my work i come,put the n800 in the table,connect the 4-port usb splitter,connect the keyboard,mouse and 16gb disk-on-key in addition to my 8gb internal and external mc,that makes 32gb and play maqii with the keyboard and mouse (using user.cnf) after the game of course the mouse is useless and as i said if someone could make a mouse pointer to control the whole device would be awesome.what a pity i'm not a developer..

There is already a hack to show the mouse cursor on the screen and I think synergy does what you want. (via the computer but there are hacks to use a usb mouse and a keyboard works out of the box)

i found something about synergy but it's a mess and yes it's via the pc,i don't mean that,i mean something simple,a real mouse cursor in the device.could u be kind qwerty12 and give me more tips or a link for hacking the mouse? thanks

ok benson i installed the usb mouse and i see it works but i just can't see the pointer i saw u were developing that feature i just don't understand why u and jolouis didn't finish it.. is there any trick to see the pointer? is not visible in my device..

I've got a mouse pointer and several different cursor themes to choose from. All you need is to install KDE. As luck would have it, Penquinbait is just releasing an updated KDE package - check out the KDE here on ITT if you're interested in TRULY have a mini PC. There is very little I can do using my KDE desktop at home that I can't do on my N810 KDE desktop

The reason we didn't "finish" it primarily involves not wanting to make our own maemo-based OS, just so we could have all apps in it tweaed and recompiled to show cursors. The fix jolouis implemented seems to work well, considering, but some apps still forcibly override the cursor with a transparent one.

KDE is just a port of KDE. (And it comes up fairly easily in a forum search for "kde")

alright,kde is installed and working like a charm keyboard and mouse too with pointer and everything just one more question,is there a way to install firefox with flash 9 to watch youtube through it? honestly i don't like that conqueror so much..
