Well that's that then. Just tapped in the old debit card details and a spanking new N810 is on it's way from the elves in Finland at £254 for me. Should be here tomorrow!

Let's just hope '3' can sort out the modem on my E61 in time to allow me to pair the two when it arrives!

I hope so too. Still anxious that it's the right toy (tool) for me, but we see. Hoping to carry it where the PowerBook is too much to take.

Just looking around on the memory front. Any clues where I can get an 8GB mini SD card for it cheaply?

Amazon seems to be the best bet They've got a sandisk 8gb with USB reader for about US $53, I dunno if they'll ship to UK though

I am correct to assume this 8GB miniSD will go into the N810 memory slot flush? No dangly cables or overside holders.

My bad, I should have clarified. As far as I know they don't make miniSD above 4gb. (If they do I've never seen one, I could be quite mistaken though) So my solution was to buy a microSD card and use a cheap micro --> mini adapter like this one:

Insert Absurdly Long Amazon Link

and yes, it goes in flush and then there's a little slide cover over it and then the kickstand closes over that :P

Groovy! That looks like the plan then.

On an off note, how many films can I store on this card for the N810 and what is the best tool for converting them from my Mac? Not interested in music, I have an iPod for that, although I might want to copy some photos over from iPhone. Can iPhoto see the N810 as a suitable device to move files onto or do I need a card reader and remove the card from the unit?
