A really great overview/review on Conola2.

I think this is some great exposure for the Canola team and it will undoubtedly turn some more users onto the Nokia tablets.

Technically I didn't REVIEW it, as the article is classified as feature. It's meant more as an open kick in the butt for MP3 manucaturers to learn from canola and create great UI's. And of course give the team some PR

...and a kick in the butt for Nokia from Nokia, if you see what I mean. ;-)

It's amazing when you consider Canola was apparently made by just a four-person team. Maybe smaller teams actually come up with better interfaces?

EDIT: The article says it was 5 to 7 people, which is still a pretty small number for such a polished product.

Agreed!

Cptnodegard, I didn't realize you haunted this site (although I should have known). I think your feature will definitely generate a buzz for the tablet and Canola though. Great job.
p.s. Now I know where your name user name comes from...Captin.

It encouraged me to install it and try it again - its a good review.
I managed to install it, but it doesn't seem to run!
Not too much of a problem as it is not where I use the tablet for.

There is the libeet problem, mentioned elasewhere in ITT. Since you did install it now, you probably will have this problem. Run

Code:
canola -vv
as user in XTerm and post here the result.
