Hello again,

So I have an iphone for now...i know boooo right..

When I go overseas in couple of months, i plan on leaving my iphone behind. So I can't decide whether to buy the n810 now or wait for the 4th gen?...I really have no use for it yet, and the slow cpu compared to the iphone and touch really bothers me.

secondly,

I am not that good with computer, so once I get it, I would like the ability to remote into my computer at home...I can't decide or know what application to us for this...I hear VNC and open vnc. What I"m looking for is something simple that a dummy can figure out. but I rather get feedback from someone with first hand experienced.

please give me the pros and cons on this subject.

thanks in advanced.

You already have a similar portable device, so my advice is to wait. I don't know if a new tablet will be out before your trip, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

One alternative you might want to consider is getting an N800, they cost about half the price of the N810 but they're technically identical (apart from not having a built-in keyboard or GPS). You can add a Bluetooth keyboard or USB keyboard to an N800 if you really need to type with physical keys.

That would make a pretty good low-price temporary tablet if you're waiting for the next model.

Slow? They're about on par, actually.

Personally, I would get an N800 now, then an N900 whenever they come out.
