Sorry I misplaced my post by creating a new thread, however mods have the ability to "join" threads. So, being an asshat off the bat is a little unnecessary.

Ah yes, start posting with a foul mouth which is undoubtedly below a brain that does not investigate.
There are no "mods"

I posted a thread where the N810 reviews go, directing you to the place where your review would likely get the most views. Hardly "asshattery". It's a thin-skinned world these days. :\

Precisely, however -- you can't exactly delete your thread here and move it there. Hence, where a mod would typically step in. I understand my wrongdoing, but making a blatant comment without a way of fixing the situation is rather "asshat" like. Especially with your post count.

It's like telling someone who just asked a question to "search for it first".

Part of my decision in getting the n810 was GPS -- cause I'll be driving from Virginia to Maine and back. Secondly, to hold me over so I don't need to carry my 3lb laptop with me everywhere. So, come Thursday evening off I went with the fiance to Maine -- with only the n810 leading the way. I set it to skip all toll's and it did just that. As we're driving, I did manage to miss a turn and it quickly rerouted and got me back on track. It got us all the way up there in one piece, and I couldn't have asked for more. In fact, it navigated far better than my friends Garmin he rented with his rental car (so we used the n810 to find the Maine Mall, etc for the rest of the trip).
For the remainder of the 3 days, I used the n810 to check email and do general surfing/news reading. It accomplished it all with ease. On the last day some of our friends met up with us (we were all at a wedding), and many of them were very interested in the n810 as far as replacing their palm pilots. I had to explain to them it wasn't a cell phone of course, and that many/most of the applications are open source and free for download, etc. Overall, they seemed very impressed. One of the comments that I got was that one of my friends loved the fact that he could actually hold it in his hands, and it felt like he was actually holding something (I guess his palm pilot is way too light -- which I never knew was a problem).
On the way home I took toll roads, and managed to get back successfully once again. I did hit one snag when we went through a still-developing neighborhood since the waypoints are a bit dated, but overall no problems at all that I wouldn't have expected from any other GPS systems.
Overall, I love my n810 and fully expect to use it to its full potential. My friend intends on buying one for Skyping in Hawaii as well.
My one complaint: we need video hardware acceleration. Lagging on a simplistic youtube video was slightly disheartening. Overall though, I'm impressed
Edit: GPS lock times around 15-45 seconds.
