Has anyone tried to patch the kernel with a RT patch or used RTLinux with their n8x0? Trying to build an multimodal interface with hard real time requirements. Any ideas or experiences would be helpful.

( oh and i realise that the multimedia drivers will introduce latencies, but I would like to explorer the benefits of being able to build a kernel module that could pre-empt and have high priority)
