So yeah, my wife just bought Rainbow Yahtzee for her Ipod which was only $4.99, and I must say, it's incredibly impressive!

So much so that it's even given me the bug to play this on the Tablet.

Anyone know of any open sources for this or perhaps maybe a DOS version, Garnet VM version, or even something that could be emulated for another system?

Thanks!

Tali is a Yahtzee clone that's supposed to be a part of the gnome-games source package, whatever that is. It's installed by default with Ubuntu, and I play it WAAAAY too much.

Hm, will have to Google this one some more...

I'm a big fan of yahtC for Garnet VM. I bought it when I was still using a Sony Clie. There is a free version that is nagware and a full version for $12. The author takes a few days to respond to email though.

Ah....... What I wouldn't give for an awesome version of Yahtzee with sexy graphics?

Well, apparently $14.95 is what I wouldn't give.

Anyway, thanks a bunch for the mikewk.com site!

Now I can get my dilapidated dice fix on the tablet!

Cheers bud!

thanks for the tip on Tali. i'm a complete yahtzee-maniac too. i tried installing gnome-games in easy debian but there's a broken dependency on python-bugbuddy_2.30.0-3_all.deb.

EDIT: the dependency problem has been solved by moving squeeze's repo above lenny's. i can play Tali now but the window is a bit too big for the screen so it can only be played in LXDE with moving the window around.

having games installed on everyday device that always stays in your pocket proven useful sometimes
instead of have to bring a handheld console every time (i have a psp, but only bring it with me occasionally. unlike my n900 where i always bring it everywhere, and i always play games for killing time)
