i bought the n810 while i was in new york recently. the gps worked wonderfully there. however, now that i'm back in singapore in can't download the map for singapore.

I tried different wi-fi connections but i'm just not able to download the map. anyone knows what's going on?

Make sure that you don't access the internet through a proxy. Then re-try several times. I never got a map downloaded with just one try.

Layman, I had trouble downloading new maps too.

The way I solved it was to delete the old maps and the entire maps directory from the tablet's memory card, then I started the Maps application and tried downloading again, and it worked.
