Hey guys. I have a question about downloading maps for maemo-mapper. I live in Bulgaria and I want to download some Bulgarian maps. I opened several websites for Bulgaria's latitude and longitude but they all give only one latitude number and one longitude number ( it was something like 43.00N and 53.00E - maybe wrong numbers. I'm just showing an example. Anyways) My point is that maemo mapper maps downloading menu requires some other latitude and longitude (top-left and bottom right) So how can I find these numbers so I can fill them over there and download some Bulgarian maps. Is there a website that is showing all of these numbers, or what do I have to do???. Please if you can help me I'll really appreciate it. Thank you in advance

You can come up with the second coordinate yourself. For example, if you want (43N, 53E), you can enter (44N, 52E) as the top left and (42N, 54E) as the bottom right, and your original coordinate will be right in the middle. As a rule of thumb, one degree of latitude or longitude equals approximately 110km.

Maemo mapper can calculate most of these itself from your current viewing coordinates.

Copied from another thread:

Turn on auto-download to get a few base maps - so you can find the country / city

To download specific geographical areas, centre the display on, for example, London - stay zoomed out so that the whole area fits into the screen.

Menu -> Maps -> Manage Maps
(There are options for downloading maps by area or along a route)
Select the Zoom tab and choose which zoom-levels you want to download. You probably won't need to go all of the way down to level 1 since at that level you don't get much more benefit, but there'll be a load more maps - I found around level 4 tends to be as far as I usually need to zoom.

Addition: Benson suggested downloading alternate levels, e.g. 3,5,7,9 etc to save space.
