Is there a way to get perl modules (such as open.pm) on diablo?

Of course, I tried that in various ways, but this doesn't work: perl-modules doesn't exist in diablo (though I have, extras, extras-devel and diablo/tools enabled), and the one in chinook doesn't install due to the dependencies because perl-base in diablo has a higher version than in chinook (5.8.3-3osso9 vs 5.8.3-3osso7). Now since perl-base is provided in diablo, I don't understand why perl and perl-modules aren't. Is there any other repository I should add?

To be without the full power of perl is for me like being without one leg..

They are in the official one. Of course if you added the chinook base one, they will conflict.

The chinook one is not the problem. The problem is that these packages from diablo cannot be found:
Code:
Nokia-N810-23-14:~# apt-cache show perl
Nokia-N810-23-14:~#
Probably a missing catalogue. Why? There's really a lack of documentation. I've tried to search the wiki and found http://maemo.org/community/wiki/appl...nrepositories/, which is completely out-of-date.

This repo should be added with the Diablo installation. There is a general movement to consolidate all the repositories to Extras, which is also added by default and should be enough - hence no documents on the others - there are no others the user should worry about.

Ah, okay, you've got me

As of Diablo this repo is no longer added and is labeled as SDK repo...

deb http://repository.maemo.org/ diablo/sdk free non-free

Does anyone know why is that?

I have Extras (and Extras-Devel), but perl isn't in these ones.
