Hey all,
does anyone know if it;s possible to move the scroll bar on the right hand side of the browser that comes standard with diablo to the left hand side of the scrfeen? As a lefty, when I have to scroll via the stylus, I cover the screen of my N800 - minor inconvenience, but still...

anyone know if is possible to get the scroll bar to the other side of the screen?

please note: major newbie (both to NITs and Linux) here, so simple concepts, simple words, and step-by-step instrustions are allways apprecated!

For most applications, look at this post: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...1&postcount=12

For the browser, look at this page: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.scrollbar.side

More questions have been covered in this thread: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=19435

OK, I got the one for everything but the browser to work, but the fix for the browser isn't working for me . . . nothing changes no matter what number I change layout.scrollbar.side to. Has it given anyone else trouble?

I think the secret is to enter the new value in the 'value' field, then press ENTER, then click on 'Set Preference' button.

Works every time for me provided that you don't miss out the 'press ENTER bit (otherwise it doesn't seem to work at all!)

You can see its worked because it

then shows the scroll bar in the new location while you are still in 'about:config'.

You can edit your posts...

Edit: If you're using some of the themes, there's no edit button; using the Classic theme, it's right there with the Quote button.

Does this work on an N770? I changed the gtkrc files for every theme I had in my themes directory and still no change in the scroll bar placement.
