Nevermind, I think I figured it out. I forgot to turn off virtual memory.
Well, I'd confirm this if I hadn't already corrupted the card's partition.

I'm installing the OS to the MMC card using the guide here:

I'm having trouble unmounting the memory card however. I've tried popping it out and putting it back in and several reboots.
"umount: /media/mmc1: Device or resource busy"
How do you resolve this?
