i really dread dropping my n800 anywhere in the house, as the floor is very unforgiving (ceramic tile)... looks like your pouch would also provide some good shock protection!

Even if you don't know crochet yourself, you may be able to find someone who does. They should be able to do this quite easily and quickly, with a working time of approximately one hour.
