The range of the N800 wi-fi is already among the best there is, for non-stationary consumer grade equipment.

well it also depends on where you are so if you are inside a house that might limit the wi-fi signal a bit.

ensure the access point isn't sharing a channel... remember that only 1, 6 and 12 do not overlap.
