Hi everyone

I'm Sam and I'm new on the forums, this is my first post so a big hello I'm going to keep this first post as short as I can so I don't bore you all

Basically I've known about Nokia's internet tablets for some time now (since the 770 was released) and I'm familiar with the N800 and N810. I'm in ICT Technician so know my computers, gadgets, technology to an extent but obviously I don't know everything.

I've decided after looking on the Internet at the N800 and reading up about it that I'd love to buy one. It's seems like an awesome device and I really want it, especially so I can put all the great software that's out there (i.e. Canola) on it etc.

My question is this, do you guys know of any good websites/stores where I can buy the N800 in the UK brand new and sealed? Obviously there's eBay but I'm not keen from buying from there. I have found a couple of websites that have them in stock but I just wanted to see if you know of any good places?

Many thanks

I got mine from PC World a year ago.
Unfortunately, Play.co.uk stopped selling them, same with Currys, expansys(but they have the n810) , PC world, micro Anvika and supergps.co.uk .

Now for the good news, you can get the n800 from :
-the Nokia store (£145 - but i think they sold out) ,
-Despercia (£145),
-Wossat (£145),
-mynewcheap (£180) .
-Amazon (£150)
-Shopandgo (£199)

Hope that helps!!!

Thanks! The one I saw was at Despercia but do the Nokia Store still sell them or does it say Out of Stock because they don't sell them anymore? Anyways I'll be ordering the N800 on the 23rd from wherever I can!

I dont think nokia sells (or even makes as a matter of fact) them anymore.
Good luck with your order and hope to see you soon on the forum!

Check out Quidco, as they had a 30% cashback deal on anything from the nokia store recently - not sure if it's still on though.

My local PC world (sunderland) had N800's on display last sunday, although the ticket price was £279!! They usually have a price match policy on most stuff though.

Be a shame otherwise, the N810 is a good piece of kit though, and it's only the storage which lets it down against the 800. The onboard GPS, keyboard and better screen are all plus points, although I love my 800 to bits.

BTW for storage if you manage to track down an 800, look at play.com as they have 32GB SDHC cards for £60 each

I'm not too sure that Nokia actually sell the N800 anymore though? How much is the N810? It's quite a lot more expensive isn't it? Wow, could have 64GB memory for £120

Quidco deal has gone, although they have a 5% cashback deal on Nokia. N810 is £280 at the reputable places according to uncle google. Big issue for me with the N810 would be lack of space, as it only has 1 microsdhc slot, which unless you're rich means a 8GB card at most.

Well I'd actually to prefer to get the N800, I'm not too fussed about the GPS etc. The N800 should be plenty good enough and it's a lot cheaper! El Amir has listed a few places where I can grab one so I will try and get one from one of those.

By the way do you have any idea if I can connect through to the Internet on my Nokia 6120 Classic?

I much prefer the 800 over the 810 actually - the extra storage makes a real difference, and I'll be replacing on of my 16GB cards with 32GB come payday! I have a bluetooth keyboard, and GPS. Again the seperate GPS means that I can just take the phone and GPS if I want to, makes the whole deal more flexible.

Nokia 6120 classic - certainly. I've got the exact same phone on 3 with the tenner broadband bolton - works perfectly
