Done discussing it. Let me know when it's actually available in the US and we can figure out how it implements thing like Wifi, so we know if they're show stoppers or not.

In fact let us know when any of these MID’s are on sale anywhere.

This time last year looking at the reports from the San Francisco IDF 2007 I was agog with anticipation. Here we are a whole year later and IDF 2008 is just finishing and nothing much seems to have happened to progress these devices to market.

Maybe a lot is going on behind the scenes with Atom availability and Linux MID software development but somehow these things are starting to look like old technology now – probably because we have been seeing what seems like the same images of the same prototypes and the same hands-on videos for more the past year.

I mean, if there really is a market for 90 million of these devices by 2010 then surely someone somewhere should be getting a bit of a move on?
