A few weeks ago, I got the notification that openafs 1.4.7-maemo3 is available for update. When I used Application manager to update, it gave me an error pop-up "Unable to update openafs".

When I looked at the package detail, the status field says "Broken but able to update".

A post here says that using apt-get can work around the update problem.

When I run apt-get, I get the error below.
Has anyone experience the same problem? How did you fix it?

/home/user # apt-get install openafs

openafs is already the newest version.
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
mplayer libfribidi0 libtheora0 libmad0 libogg0
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 12 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B of archives.
After unpacking 0B of additional disk space will be used.

Solved my own problem. I had to '/etc/init.d/openafs stop' the service first. Then run 'apt-get install openafs'
