As a student I use the ebook plugin Ebrary for my university, But it does not run on Maemo.

I found this link and tried to do it on Xterminal but couldnt get it to work
http://www.ebrary.com/kb/users/linux_under_wine.jsp

I am wondering if it is possible in any way to be able to open these types of files on my n810. Or maybe in KDE?

Thanks guys!

The primary problem is that the ebrary reader is Windows-only. They make it work on a Linux PC (with an Intel x86 chip) by using Wine. The N8x0 uses an ARM processor, so we can't run Windows programs. Sorry.

If they release a Linux version of the reader, you might be able to convince them to compile a version for the tablets. Depending on what kind of company they are (hey, they are actually beta-testing a Linux version!) they may say, "yes"...
