Stand corrected, 2nd time in tablet history watching live events. 1st time was Olympic by CBC, canadians watch live I believe.

CNN with the presidential debates outdone NBC's olympic. It is live on the tablet, while dumb NBC has to delay it for 12 hrs because of greedy corporate profit!
This live broadcast may open a new avenue for the tablet, with more media going to pay attention to internet broadcast or "cellphone" media. This is music to my ear.
