Expansys are flogging the Nokia NavKit for the 770 / N800 here:

http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=151567

for 25 UKP + postage. But, if you go to hotukdeals.com & search for expansys, you'll find a simple way to grab a 10 UKP off voucher via another forum.

So you can pick up a Nokia LD-3W bluetooth GPS, N800 car charger & mount and a 3 year licence for the Wayfinder SatNav for 20 quid or thereabouts.

I think that's a pretty good deal all round personally.

Strangely they also sell it as part of a bundle with an N810 (http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=166786). Does anyone know how much of it works with the n810 and how much you'd just throw away?

It should not matter. I'm not 100% sure but the licence should work for whole Europe. The difference may be in maps that come in the pack but you can download all maps and updated software from
http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer.../en_GB/tablet/

BTW does the car holder work with N800? It looks like this is the version for 770.

The licence sticker says "Europe".

The holder is for the 770. The GPS & Navigation software activation works fine on the N800 & should work with the N810.

Or you could just order the N810 itself for 245 UKP & the Navkit for 25 !

(The bundles presumably date from before they cut the price on the Navkit to get shot of them: they used to be ridiculously expensive.)

NB. If you were to buy it for use with an N810, then you'd be getting a car charger & half a car mount, a GPS with a Sirf Star III chipset, which is reputed to be better than the GPS in the N810 & the SatNav licence.

Might be worth it. It's certainly a much cheaper way to buy the SatNav licence for the N810 than doing so directly online with Wayfinder. (80 UKP!)

Well, I did buy it on the italian section of Expansys but it was worth the expense. Thanks for your suggestion!!

I already have the mount, and the BT Gps, just needed the license so one I'll sell all the thing on ebay I'll almost have a free license..

In fact if I could get a CR-86 holder I would keep the nokia one since it seems a lot more well designed than mine, but they seem to be more precious than gold
