Hello

i'm new here as u can see , i just bought the n800 and looks easy to learn ..

the quastion is when u install application where the files install , to the build in memory or to the memory on the slot ..

i dont have problem finding the application i just dont know where the files saved .. just wonder when the build in memory fill out where the application will start install .. other words is there any way to make the memory on the slot is the primary memory for applications to be installed to..

On more thin did any one had problem useing SDHC flash memory Card with this Tablet..

Welcome to the forums.

By default, everything goes on the tiny, built-in 256MB of flash. But 256MB goes a long way, if you delete the sample files, PDF user manuals, and keep large files (like maps) on SD cards. If 256MB turns out to be too small, look into "mmc or sd boot" to run the system off a SD card.

On a standard Nokia tablet, applications are always installed on the internal NAND memory (that's the memory on the board, not the internal memory card).

If you want to install applications on a memory card, you'll need to hack your tablet. I suggest searching on the forum for things like "dual boot SD" or similar terms. Just make sure you don't have valuable data on your tablet when you're trying this, because bricking is a definite possibility.

As to SDHC, if you're using ITOS2008 (or whatever new name the marketing boffins have come up with), it should normally not be a problem. For ITOS2007 hacked kernels exist. Again, search is your friend...

Thx , i did search before post here , and i did not feel ok of useing SDHC some issues about it ..

iwill try look for the dual SD boot ..
