Hello,

I am trying to make my N810 recognize my 8gb Sandisk micro SHDC card. I am also using a Micro SD to Mini SD Sandisk adapter to put it in.

The thing is, the N810 finds it with a kingston2gb micro sd card, but not with my 8gb card.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Follow this thread : http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=16067

Try to do low level format to see that helps or not.

Good luck!

try to plug your card in your pc. If the pc can access it then it's fine. Try to put it back to n810. Sometimes our ITT doesn't recognize it for unknown reason.

If the above still doesn't work. I suggest formating it like others said.

If you search, you will find several threads that say that the Sandisk MicroSD to MiniSD adapters do not work in the N810. Some people reported success with the cheap adapters from EBay. I just bought the "Kingston 8GB Micro SDHC Mobility Multi Kit Model MBLY/8GB" from Newegg. It has a MicroSD card and adapter. Its at:

It worked fine. But I was surprised how far you need to stick it into the socket in the N810. You really need long fingernails or a little screwdriver to push it in. It will click into place when you've done it right.

I think that we need a sticky about the Sandisk adapters not working.

Thats the thing, I bought the adapter from eBay, the cheap Sandisk one.

Will a Sandisk 8GB SDHC card work in a Kingston Microsd to Mini SD adapter?

If so, I will try searching for one.

I bought another cheapo adapter from ebay, hope it works with the lesser quality one!

I can confirm it works when I plug it into the PC, and into my phone Samsung F490.

When you post about these things please also post the source.

I bought mine from Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-microS...6969871&sr=8-1

BlueProton, for $37 for the card and micro to mini adapter with shipping. They are now down to about half that.

Been running it since August - no problem.

/edit some of the vendors sell crap
