Can your website please support an HTTPS/SSL webserver? If not, please only create an HTTPS/SSL webserver for login so plaintext is not transmitted.

Are you really that worried about somebody stealing your login info for this site?

Do you really use a different password on every site you use and never ever reuse any of your passwords? Even if so, reading one of your passwords may give a clue about how you construct them and may make brute-force guessing easier (this does of course not apply to all users).

Wouldn't you be worried if your password for this site was traded among spammers so that they could spam forums using valid accounts?
