Ok, here's the question. I am looking to buy a NAS device that I can use to store and stream my entire media collection to the N810 and Canola. I plan on ripping all my CD's to MP3, storing them in folders divided by group and album (with Cover art) and then playing them with Canola through the N810. I have the Media Servers plugin installed. What requirements should I look for in a NAS device? Will it work with a DLNA certified Media Server? For example, I am looking at the Buffalo Linkstation Live products. Do I need UPnP? Any help would be great.

UPnP on a NAS will help. The built-in media player can also access SMB shares, but Canola can only access UPnP (although I found its UPnP plugin very unreliable, YMMV).
It doesn't have to be DLNA-certified. A plain UPnP ContentDirectory server is OK.

Thanks for your reply. I am looking at a Buffalo Linkstation Live

It claims to have a built-in Media Server. Will the Media Server plugin recognize it?

I don't know if the plugin will recognize this particular media server. But if it does not, you can always report it as a bug to the software authors. Usually it's just small things that need to be changed/fixed in order to make it work.
